In the crowded church of St. Dominic in Trogir, the Projekt Lazarus ensemble held a concert performance to commemorate the 700th anniversary of the death of Blessed Augustin Kažotić. The pleasant Sunday evening was marked by compositions of Croatian authors dedicated to the Blessed, as well as sacred works of the Croatian musical heritage of the early baroque. The concert was organized by the Croatian Music Center, Monastery of St. Dominic and the National Shrine of Blessed Augustin Kažotić in Trogir, under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia.
The main motto of the programme on which the idea of the HGC is based is: “Let’s listen to Croatian music!”
