The Croatian Music Center in cooperation with the Seviqc Festival in Brežice organized a concert of the top Belgian ensemble whose musicians were assembled in the Flanders Recorder Quartet, featuring excellent music performance on November 25, 2017 at the atrium of the Museum of Arts and Crafts in Zagreb. Technically brilliant and inspirational, the miraculous sounds of rare wooden instruments have completely “dazzled” the audience, especially in demanding compositions by J. S. Bach, in which the virtuosity of the artist reached a peak. After the inexhaustible applause of the auditorium, the Flemish virtuosos honored the audience with a several „encore“ moments and left an unforgettable seal in our metropolis, also celebrating their 30th birthday. We especially thank the employees of the Museum of Arts and Crafts, whose dedication and sincere efforts made possible the high-performance level of this unique musical event.
The main motto of the programme on which the idea of the HGC is based is: “Let’s listen to Croatian music!”
