Projekt Lazarus at the Prandau Festival

On Friday, June 11th, 2021, in the beautiful church of St. Michael the Archangel in Donji Miholjac, the Projekt Lazarus ensemble held a concert on the occasion of the 320th anniversary of the first edition of “Cithara octochorda”, one of the most important compendiums of liturgical and sacral songs, published in Vienna in 1701. In addition to selected compositions from “Cithara octochorda”, the Projekt Lazarus ensemble presented to the audience of Donji Miholjac the most important Croatian composers of the first half of the 17th century – Ivan Lukačić and Vinko Jelić, and Croatian-Italian composers Damjan Nembri and Francesco Sponga Usper.

The concert was held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia, the City of Donji Miholjac and the Parish of St. Michael the Archangel in Donji Miholjac.
